Photoshoot Day

It's all about simplicity. Sometimes, less is more.

Today, my best friend (a budding photographer) held a photoshoot to celebrate the end of summer. The make-up theme was ethereal, with rosy cheeks, lip stains, and simple, shimmery eyes.

The clothes weren't too bad either.

Take a look at some of our photos and some of the products used below.

Dress - Gap
Watch - Fossil Stella Boyfriend in Rose Gold
Hair - Solia Flat Iron, to create gentle waves
Face - Revlon Color Stay Foundation in Ivory
Eyes - Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in Noir

Lips - theBalm Cosmetics Stainiac
Cheeks - tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush
Eyes - bareMinerals eyeshadow in Soul
Eyes - eyeko Skinny Liquid Liner in Black
Eyes - bareMinerals mascara Flawless Definition in Black

Most of these beauty products can be found at your local drugstore or nearest beauty store, such as Sephora and Ulta. I purchased some of these products (eyeko liner, Stainiac) through Birchbox.com, after enjoying the samples they sent me through their make-up subscription service.
